Excellent Ideas is the creation
of myself: Tom Blankenship . I have over 25 years experience in
pharmacy management and I am currently employed full-time in that
capacity. When I moved from the corporate environment to help start a
retail business from scratch, I found that so much of the office
technology I had taken for granted had to be recreated from the ground
up. Working with little or no budget, I found that I had to utilize the
software available on a home PC to accomplish many of the bookkeeping,
accounting, advertising, and general office duties. Although I hold a
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, my
computer skills were not quite up to speed because of the length of time
I had been out of school; so I returned to school to study computers.
After a couple of years of evening classes, I earned an Associate's
Degree in Computer Information Systems.
I also obtained numerous
technical certifications along the way, including: Networking Plus,
Computer Applications Specialist,Computer Technical Support, and
PC
Repair and Installation. I also became Microsoft Office User
Specialist (MOUS) Master certified, which is a certification of
mastery of all the applications in the Microsoft Office suite which
includes Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Power Point. I also have
extensive knowledge of HTML and Front Page web design editor which
is what was used to design this website. I graduated with High
Honors and a perfect 4.0 GPA; one of only two in my
graduating class to achieve this honor. I want to combine my
knowledge with my customer service skills to help the individual and
small business owner with technology projects and issues.
